How long does the test take?

The exam consists of a median to ulnar nerve comparison study performed on each hand which takes less than 10 minutes total to complete.

Is there anything I need to do to prepare for the test?

We ask you try to avoid putting lotion or any other oils on your hands before the exam if possible. You can eat, drink, and take any medications as you normally would.

When can we expect test results?

You can expect test results within 24 hours and in most cases results will be provided before we leave your facility.

Are there any lasting affects from the test?

No, there are no lasting effects from the exam.
