Understanding the Wrist Watch Program
When a company adopts the wrist watch program, it is administered in two steps:
Step 1: Training and Testing
Wrist watch will train and supervise the plant nurse, independent nurse or other health professional in your area. We can also dispatch one of the wrist watch technologists for on site testing virtually any where in the united states. All testing will be performed with standard nerve testing equipment and protocols. This approach allows for reliable baseline information regarding the median nerve. We will arrange for equipment, procedures and be available for technical assistance 24 hours a day.
Why Clients Choose Us
Our technologists are all certified and have the most up-to-date training. Each is a Certified Nerve Conduction Technologist (CNCT). To earn the CNCT credential, a technologist has to meet three requirements: eligibility (through work and education), a rigorous written and practical examination that tests competency in NCSs , and an ongoing commitment to learning.
Our certified nerve conduction technologists all must demonstrate an understanding of the following:
- Principles such as human anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology
- Basic nerve conduction techniques, instrumentation, and technological operation of NCS devices
- Clinical disorders
- Problem solving
